Avant Biomedical has seen multiple key projects enacted in recent years in an attempt to further its influence and power within the Corporate World. Recent developments have seen Avant roll out various artificially-grown limbs and organs for use in transplants at relatively cheap prices, although these are often unavailable on the frontier due to transporting costs making them all but unaffordable.
Avant has also produced various crops genetically edited to refine various toxic or heavy elements in planetary atmospheres into breathable air, serving as a more organic, albeit far slower, method of terraforming. Genetic editing and modification has remained an area of heavy investment for the Company, and Avant is always developing improved medical supplies and goods.
