Nanotrasen (NT)

Nanotrasen is a corporation specializing in scientific research, resource extraction, and technology. They are rarely, if ever, directly involved with the United Nations and its associates, although they maintain a minor relationship. Both organizations benefit mutually, with Nanotrasen supplying newly enlisted soldiers, funded by the corporation, in exchange for protection from the Xenonid threat. This partnership has led to a significant increase in the already diverse Species within the United Nations Marine Corps, with these recruits serving for many years and being widely accepted by the veteran soldiers.

Nobody really knows how large company is, or what they're researching, but it's probably not worth looking into. This has resulted in an extreme lack of information about them, but it is not in the interests of the UN to figure out. What's another small company in space, after all?

Nanotrasen has a minor presence in the lore, and they have zero presence in the actual game.
